New bikes and bargains galore for the Primera Cycles expo at the Bournemouth International Centre last weekend.
Some tasty pieces of kit were on display. Cannondale, Intense, Kuota, Focus, Specialized, Orange, and Cervelo all had their latest models out for drooling over. There were also a good mix of accessory and nutrition suppliers to peruse, and even some free samples as well! Spotted on a demo bike at Hope Technologies were their latest road crankset, and they looked super sleek, they were just going through their final stages of testing before they release them into the marketplace. Local chemical pedlars Muc off were handing out sample tubes of their ‘Olympic medal winning’ lube so we will see how fast the Ribble is when I give that a bash.
So, here’s a few of photos:

Then there was this Cannondale, I don’t think a brand new bike could look more 90’s with it’s Spinergy wheels. I liked it a lot, and I normally find Cannondales hideous.

There was also a huge raffle with bikes and accessories galore given away, some very impressive prizes to be fair, but alas my tickets didn’t come in.
Primera set up their usual sale section in the centre of the hall full special offers on last season gear, fully stocked with all types of bikes, clothing, and accessories.

Couple of bargains spotted were the Specialized above, -£1750! and a Castelli Perfetto long sleeve jersey for £140 (-£35 over retail).
Its great to have a bike show on your doorstep and look forward to next years, it’s just a shame it limited to the Primera product list.
Anyway to finish here’s a picture of Eva with her free Oomf protein porridge! See you next year!
