Sunday ride out, Turbo Cotton first impressions

Finally a bit of decent weather, a chance to get out on the Ribble at last!

This morning was my first opportunity to test the Specialized Turbo Cotton tyres I have just fitted. My first impressions are positive, in fact they couldn’t be more different in performance to my last tyres. Have a look at the strava stats for my ride:

I was incredibly happy to hold an 18mph average over 35 miles, and the Turbo Cottons were a big contributor. 

The tyres immediately felt fast, from the front door the pedalling effort felt reduced. I could hold a faster speed without the feeling that the brakes were on. There was less road noise, and next to no road buzz through the bars and saddle. Cornering was more than confident as well.

I’m looking forward to doing a few more miles to get a real feeling for them.
