Ok so my old man is not quite going for the vintage road bike vibe……. His iron horse (actually more of a tin pony!) is a 70s Hungarian Pannonia Popular. No restoration, just mechanically sound.
This bike runs a Shimano 333 hub and shifter. Has new 26 1 3/4 tyres and cables. It’s no looker but rides solidly.
Wonder if my old dad will dress like a 70s bin man to match his bike! Ha ha!
